Title: Cable & Wireless selects Daly International as its deployment partner for its 3G network in Jersey, Channel Islands
Cable & Wireless Jersey is looking to roll out a mobile telecommunications network in order to provide a quality mobile phone service to both the people living on the island and the large number of visitors coming to Jersey every year.
Jersey, the most southerly Island of the British Isles, is located some 100 miles south of mainland Britain and 14 miles from the coast of France. The island occupies an area of 45 square miles and has a permanent population of 87,000.
Here, Cable & Wireless Jersey is looking to roll out a mobile telecommunications network in order to provide a quality mobile phone service to both the people living on the island and the large number of visitors coming to Jersey every year.
The size of the network is proposed to comprise 45 sites in order to provide full 2G & 3G coverage.
The project for Daly International involves the Site Selection, Acquisition, Town Planning, Design and the Construction of the infrastructure as part of this network rollout programme.

These Project Objectives are:
The client, Cable & Wireless, and its deployment partner, Daly International, therefore will have to work closely together to achieve these goals and Professionalism, Enthusiasm, and Commitment during all project stages are required to ensure a successful project outcome.
